I think the point here is to show that you can do simple animations with photoshop, not that its better or worse than other animation products. If you want an animation product then go buy one, otherwise its handy to have this feature in PS?

you can’t use gimp …
you can’t use gimp for press-production because it has no CMYK color management. thats the thing with gimp.

How do you get Flash? I want to learn how to make good animation and I see a lot of flash anime, but where to get it and is it free?
