Teddy is a Java-Applet Drawing Program that takes the 2D images you draw and renders them in 3D. The alogrithm adds shading according to the strokes and connections between the lines. This is truly a cool program for anyone and everyone!

If anyone is interested, this software appears to be freely available (that is…available for free)via Takeo Igarashi; a professor at the University of Tokyo.
The guy’s fantastic…his animation work is very much in the japanese/naive/Mario Bros vein, but fun, and his programming is out of this world…lots of deceptively simple concepts that require complex programming to deliver useable apps… i would recomend anyone who is interested in CGI to take a look at his stuff.
