Think about it. The first cell happens, it has no DNA no way of storing or transfering information has no way to reproduce itself. “lxpeter” is right, DNA contains information (software)and information cannot be random or naturally slected it first needs a language and language is intelligent.

To TheMooresNZ: Actually, DNA would have existed before the cell. This whole “where did the information come from?” put about by the ID people is confusing. The origin of the “information” (if you wish to call it that) is extremely simple to explain. I can explain it to you in more detail if you like, just send me a private message
