vista was in the making way before macs? LOL!
the first mac came out in 1984 when windows didn’t exist at all and Mac OS X has been released in 2001, before that M$ started the Longhorn project.

Lolzor. I even …
Lolzor. I even prefer Linux to Mac. I prefer just about anything to Mac. There is nothing, in my eyes, special about Mac. Nothing. They based their system off of UNIX, and coasted on UNIX’s success. The only thing they have going for them is the hardware, and this shows in the amount of iPod sales. If Apple are ever to rule the COMPUTING market, they need to widen their horizons and drop prices, fast. OK - rant over.

WTF are you talking …
WTF are you talking about? Neither does Windows allow any modification to the kernel. There isn’t even a ROOT account on Windows, neither. And, should a mischevious program try to pass into Kernel space (like a bad driver) the Blue Screen of Death occurs, which is designed to protect the kernel and system from damage. SO next time, substantiate your facts or SFTU.

The “Quantum Foam” …
The “Quantum Foam” (I think) wallpaper on Mac OS 9 is strangely reminiscent of Aqua wallpapers, particularly those in the very early Mac OS X - particularly at 2:50.

Yet another Mac …
Yet another Mac fanboy who has no facts to back up the trash he/she spews out.
November 30th, 2007 at 7:25 pm
Did you not know …
Did you not know that OS X is fully UNIX compliant?
Do youy want me to put some links of people hacking Windows and obtaining access to the kernel, are you an idiot? Everybody knows that there is a ROOT account on Windows, do you know what system 32 is? There are all the files in the system and if a hacker get’s access to that, he’ll be able to modify or delete all the computer facts, so you are the one that should be checking facts

Well, to most …
Well, to most people there is something special about Macs, all you Microsoft ignorants and noobs love Microsofts monopoly and macs are selling at 3x the average rate of PC sales so start saying some real facts. btw, Leopard is fully UNIX compliant while Linux is still not so just stfu and Apple has already gotten their prices low enough and that’s why more people are buying Macs now, Micronoob

Windows doesn’t …
Windows doesn’t have a root account. It has Administrator, System, and some other accounts especially if IIS is installed and running. Mac OS 10 has root, and it has no password. Penetration testing shows that while initially some systems based on UNIX may be harder to get into, when security measures from both are put into place, Windows is the more secure. It also exercises principle of least privelages far better than UNIX does. UNIX takes a slightly different approach.

What a noob, why …
What a noob, why don’t you first look up what you’re saying, it’s nonsense, everybody knows that Windows has a Root Account, Mac is the one that doesn’t, would you please look up the info before saying some more stupid shit, Micronoob
December 9th, 2007 at 2:21 pm
Are you honestly …
Are you honestly saying that a Mac does not have Root? Man, you are so wrong. You might as well change your name to “IknowjackshitaboutMacOSX” - idiot. I refuse to participate any further in this argument of which you clearly do not have the knowledge.

What? Linux has as …
What? Linux has as much UNIX at heart as Mac OS X, if not more. Seriously, you need to shut your trap and stop talking bullshit. Try using Google once in your lifetime, you might learn something.
