MP3 is only capable of outputting audio. Photoshop isn’t capable of encoding to MP4 or AVI, although this may be available inside CS3 Extended

Yes, select the two …
Yes, select the two frames you’d like to apply a crossfade to, then press the tweening button. Add the desired amount of frames to make the transition smooth and you’re done. There’s more info on tweening on the full version of this video available for free on the 3photoshop website.

Add a layer to the …
Add a layer to the bottom of the layers palette and fill with the colour of your choice, you can then play around with individual frames by selecting them and turning the new layer on or off with the eyeball control in the layers palette.

one more thing.. i wana make the size of the gif smaller cas its like 2.9mb:/ i did the quality of the photos to 0 and they were about 175kb each but all together in the gif are 2.9Mb is there a way to make it smaller rather than zip it?
