Vista is Windows 98 …
Vista is Windows 98 with a new paint job. They haven’t really improved on anything but the GUI and UI.
The Unix base …
The Unix base provides our security on mac’s and Linux-based PCs. But as a courtesy to Windows users, I use ClamXav which scans my emails so that if I send an email every one I send is virus’ free, or if I transfer data onto a sever none of my files contain virus’ for Windows. Plus trojans and Worms do exist on Mac’s, so some security is needed.
i think windows …
i think windows vista when it’s original is a ecxelnte SO, very secure, and chrsi pirillo said, windows xo sucks is real, windows vista rules.

Chris, why do you …
Chris, why do you contradict yourself after posting an hour long video saying that you would not upgrade your machine to Windows Vista because your printer and i don’t know what other fax software did not work? When you clearly state in this video that you have Vista and that it is “BETTER” than XP when you totally said something different on a video you posted March 1, 2007 called Windows Vista vs. Windows XP…
not true linux and …
not true linux and unix(wich is base for OSX) is a lot more stable and secure than windows.
About security …
About security issues on OS X, I haven’t used a single security program on my Mac and haven’t suffered one bit, been using all kinds of fishy programs. Nothing. Programs in Windows (XP and earlier at least, don’t know about Vista) can install themselves without the user knowing, which is _not_ the case in OS X, always asking the user for approval in these situations. However, a stupid user can install a virus, but none the less HE/SHE installed it by own power.
Wow that’s kick ass …

NT3.5/NT4/2K(NT5)/XP(NT5.1)/Vista(NT6)
Windows 98 is NOT part of the NT family they are just mostly compatible as to what software they can run.
