Just wondering if …
Just wondering if you ever got the EPG to work on this. I can connect to the server and choose my provider but it never works. If it weren’t for the recording quality this would be the worst card ever in terms of driver/service support, it’s like they just gave up after they released it. BTW great review.

i never got EPG to work. the card works like a dream with windows vista media center! i had to buy a IR remote for my windows also.

dablet00, Thanks for an actual review! If we had more honest reviews like this, the manufacturers wouldn’t be able to get away with pulling the wool over the customer’s eyes. Personally, I find it unacceptable that there are the bugs you describe, even though an HDTV set and recorder would cost many times more. No more bugs!!! They need to know the hair pulling frustration this causes.

How do you get this to work in windows vista?
I had a tough time getting the software to detect the hardware. I finally did, however it won’t detect High Definition signals. In fact it won’t even give you the option of atsc antenna to scan for signals. I can only get cable and analog.

i dont remember how i got it to work. i had vista installed from scratch. once done, i use the wizard setup within vista MCE. the only thing i cant get to work is FM in MCE. otherwise, i have no problem with HD chanels. and i havent tried the analog chanels.
