this is so not …
this is so not accurate because one - you would need to use a separate computer per OS as it was meant to be for a genuine 98, and so on per OS. Running an emulator WITH VISTA is going to be uber slow.

An antivirus will make it slower since it’ll add another process in the background.
Plus I already have 2.
It’s funny how comments like these are always from a person without any videos.

2, I asked about your boot times
3, Average boot time is 1:10
4, Make a video yourself showing your “Monster rig” booting in 10 seconds.

I run vista on my 5 year old HP Desktop, has 512 MB ram 80GB hard disk 2.6 Ghz Pentium 4 Processor and 256 ATI 50 bucks graphics card. Runs just fine. No problems. The guys who spread the rumors probably are to cheap or own macs lol.(Not saying the mac os is not good.)

I use Windows XP …
I use Windows XP and Vista, configured as a dual-boot operating system. From my opinion XP is still good and the software compatibility is high, hardware compatibility is also good, but by this end of year i guess many hardware manufacturer will stop or slowdown their support on XP. Vista is also good if you have at least 2GB of ram, dual core processor, sata harddisk, a PCIE16 Display Card that has at least 256MB GDDR2 or GDDR3 and support DX10, that should be Nvidia 8600GT at least.
