what i did with my …
what i did with my NVIDIA 7300 LE, which isnt that bad (but the framerate was still laggy), was I put the texture quality too high, and my graphics to custom, and it came out pretty ok, the lighting wasnt as good as it should be, but it still fits the good game expirience needs, i am probably going to upgrade to either a 8600 or a 8800 GTX soon

That’s a fair …
That’s a fair compromise to keep it playable. As you could tell mine was still somewhat laggy, so I reduced the resolution from my max of 1200×1920 to the next step down, it took care of most of my problems. I would say unless you have extra money to spend, the 8600 is a better deal per performance as of now.

i got an 8800gts …
i got an 8800gts 640 and i play everything on max everything, and this game is amazing. its almost not doing the game justice when you dont. and i thought that was funny “still a bit laggy, but not too bad” lol that looked horrible.

Neither would I. The smoothness and easy flow of the movements are much more important to getting a good gaming experience than the look of the textures. And if your system lags like this in the situation shown, I can imagine how it will lag in a close-up fight with a Big Daddy. Must be almost impossible to aim properly…

Ok, I now realize …
Ok, I now realize that the only thing this video really shows is that the game footage is uper-laggy. I’m real sorry, it’s due to my crappy recording software. I tried to make an AMV, but all the recorded footage looks like crap so it’s time to get a new program. The game footage is actually beautiful (as you can see) but it is also quite fluid. I get about 30 FPS. The 8600 GTS will run this game just fine, again, sorry about the terrible demonstration.

dude i know your card rocks but get at least 2 gegs of ram DAMIT that will give you better FPS(frames Per Second). which increases your maximum speed wich in turn will give you better graphical output, the card displys good detail but to use it u need ram. just letting u know

Lolz you’re lucky your 6600GT can get like some FPS on the 3Dmark06 my 6200 TurboCache can barely get 1/2FPS on preformence mode!!!!
(which means lower quality and better preformence which should result in higher FPS)
