Try running it on Xbox 360 at 2560*1600. You’ll get less than 10 fps, I guarantee you. But then again it doesn’t support those resolutions. What you call an HDTV is in fact not very high resolution at all…it’s 1366*768 which is unimpressive. A medium-end pc can run this on full graphics at that resolution and get 50-60 fps, and I know because I’ve tried. Also you’re not gonna see a difference cuz it’s youtube. Look at the water demo for dx10.

Do you even know what resolution it runs on on xbox360? It’s 1366*768 which is tiny. Firstly the graphics on the pc look much better cuz the graphics on Xbox360 look very pixelated. I noticed this when playing Gears of War which runs in the same engine. Second, the Xbox360 hardly has any support for full HD. Third, the hardware in an Xbox360 is rediculous. It has 512 mb ram, shared with the GPU. The processor is already outdated, etc.

Anything that can be done in Bioshock can be done in HL2 at lower resource/hardware requirements as well. This is a fact and not fanboy-fiction.
