The key design principles within JavaScript are inherited from the Self programming language.

It’s worth noting that, in Internet Explorer and Opera, you can use “javascript:void(document.body.contentEditable=true);”
to do this, as it is not necessary to setdocument.designMode to “on”, and document.body.contentEditable should, strictly speaking, be set to true, not “true”. For some reason, firefox is wildly different in this aspect.
