Windows XP shutdown trick

Using shutdown in Windows XP Pro.
Not tested in any other operating system.
Not that my version of Win XP is Swedish.

    You can really type in any number of seconds. I like to type in just 30 seconds.

    I saw the window. Here’s a way to close it. (And it’s the only way!) Go to start and click “run” or hold down the windows logo key and press the R key and type shutdown -a in the text rectangle and click OK.

    If you run of time ur windows will close. U can also make a “Abort shutdown” link.
    Just create a new shoutcut and type: shutdown -a

    That’s how I prank people. I only put in 30 seconds so they don’t have time to abort the shutdown.

    Nah more like 3 secs, in 30 secs you can Start > run > ’shutdown -a’ > enter > DONE

    Better is to use the command “shutdown -s -f -t”. Programs will be directly closed without a question. (Do you want to save? Yes, No, Cancel)
