I have the same … I have the same problem, it has to do with your router or network or mabe even vista itself. try resetting your router and encrypt it with security. If this doesn’t help try googling it and you will find your answer

I bought a new … I bought a new computer few days ago..and I knew I had wireless signal..at first the computer said that there was no adapter.. and I configured it myself..and I got it to work…very kool huh..without knowing nothing about vista I got it to work…anyways that ain’t smart…everything on vista is so easy as eat a piece of bread…by the way I have Home Premium I don’t know what’s the difference between the basic…

NOW - as for the rest of you who got the “ELEVATION REQUIRED” message, this is what you do = go to start / accessories / CMD Prompt. Then right-click on CMD Prompt and select “Run As Administrator”. That should do the trick (why on earth didn’t the retards at microsoft just include THAT in the error message???)

It is a router setting and the wireless network card conflict with the setting.
