That little Intel …
That little Intel Centrino Sticker bugged me. It says “Peel Here”… so I did. IT DID NOT COME OFF! Ahhhh now I had a sticky Intel Centrino sticker still remaining on my tablet. Thankfully with a little more picking I was able to fully remove the rest of the sticker.
I still wonder why they put what appears to be a pull off cover over it, that even looks like it should be removed with instructions to do so.
Oh well enough ranting

i bought a c 140 xl through gateway and it came with a 1.66Ghz core 2 duo. Would it be possible to upgrade to a faster processor?

Yes, when the penryn processors are (or perhaps have already) coming out within a few weeks. Actually I think the release date was Jan 06. Penryn processors are Socket P, so you’ll be able to upgrade with them. They run cooler and faster, with the base Penryn processors running at 2.1 Ghz (for about $210). Hope that helps.

Humm did i lose my chance of getting a better deal with the C-140 XL..the C-141X is no as impressive in fact its not really all better at all…? but now i can even find the C-140 XL…dont get me wrong..after viewing your videos..i love the tablet pc..just that the wait for the c141X isnt wut i expected..what your advice..thanks

I agree the C-141X …
I agree the C-141X is not really anything different. However, the C-141XL is supposed to be a much better upgrade.
