Sharing Files Between Mac OS X and Windows XP

http://live.pirillo.com - Yes, you can transfer your files from XP to Mac OS X… or back. While they are two completely separate and different Operating Systems, it’s not as difficult as you would think to share your files between them.Duration : 0:7:11

Windows Speed Tests (Vista, XP, 2000 &98)

Me unscientifically testing the boot and shutdown times of 4 operating systems running Microsoft Windows.

Tests done in Virtual PC 2007 under Windows Vista.

Screen recording (screencasting) software was not used to free additional system resources.

Done by a 14-year-old kid, so if you don’t like it, then that’s too bad.

I didn’t really make this video to tell people to use Windows 98. I made it to see if my RAM upgrade was working ok and to learn Adobe Premiere CS3 (I’ve only used 2.0 before). kthxbyeDuration : 0:7:34

ati tv wonder 650. pvr hd tv pci tuner card for pc

+++ pro
+ good picture
+ nice RF remote but it does look
cheap

— con
- extremely buggy software bundle

my little review of the ati tv tuner card. the hardware is great! the software sucks. you can get a cheap tuner with remote for 50 bucks elsewhere.
it does work in Vista also, but soooo slow when changing the channel. this is most likely problem with vista, not the card itself.Duration : 0:7:6

Technology Shakedown: McAfee’s A/V software runs amok on Win

As I write this blog and publish the video that goes with it (the video shows the “bug” in progress) , you should know that I’m working with McAfee to get to the bottom of why its anti-virus software is spawning a new little red M (an icon for McAfee) into the tray of the copy of Windows Vista that’s running on my wife’s new Lenovo Thinkpad R60e. In an effort to isolate the behavior, I finally figured out that it does this every 4 minutes and 10 seconds.

Vista Windows for Apple Intel Mac OS X Run Windows No Reboot

Awesome virtualization software lets you run Windows XP and Vista on an Intel-based Mac, and includes several enhancements that deepen your ability to run the Mac and Windows operating systems side by side. Its big new feature, support for 3D graphics, allows you to play PC games on a Mac, too–but the number of titles it supports and the resolution at which you can play are limited right now.

Vista many versions, Apple’s Leopard 1 version. Why?

Apple’s next version of its personal computer operating system, like its predecessors, is coming in just one version. Nevertheless that didn’t stop Apple making fun of Microsoft for its oft confusing and slyly complex Windows OS product sales procedure, in which Windows comes in several versions. Apple’s solution to provide just one version of its operating system is a great one, and they put all the features of their OS in that version, for the small price $129, maybe Microsoft will someday follow Apple’s lead.Duration : 0:1:7
