Well, you can keep your apache server on linux (yeah, win has IIS, forget about apache on win), let the Linux CPU handle linux specific apps, instead of running some local Subversion app working for ya, etc.

It’s great not being a die-hard fan of any one brand. I have all kinds of different hardware attached to my computer, both on the inside and out. Here’s the outside, i.e. the stuff I touch and look at the most.

74 gb WD Raptor 10k RPM

(choose 2 of 3, since I only have 2 SATA cables)
16x Memorex DVD+/-RW/DL burner
BFG Geforce 7800 GT OC
Watercooled the wussy way, by Zalman Reserator Plus (I couldn’t be arsed hearing that Geforce fan anymore, nor could I be arsed to build my own watercooling system…perfectly content paying twice as much for something that’s manufactured and supported, thank you very much :P)

Just tested out Unreal Tournament 3 on it. Boy, is it a beauty on this HDTV. The screen’s PC input resolution is 1360×768, which makes it a poor choice for HDTV viewing (since that’s 1280×720, so it upconverts ever so slightly for a wonderfully fuzzy picture), but an excellent choice for a PC monitor, since the resolution is low enough that you can read text from the couch 10 feet away without zooming the browser in.Duration : 0:2:26

OK. Kinda wierd how this is but the first time I tried to upload this vid, the computer crashed. Second time, the browser crashed. This is the third, and I’m going to leave it overnight….

SO. Anyway. This is a short video detailing some of the changes, and advantages to my new security implementation of Windows XP, now fully implementing and using Defender. The aim is to not be so tied down with policies and crap like that while still maintaining a secure setup and absolutely AVOIDING treating the machine as a trusted app.

IE or Opera is good to go in this setup. I very rarely if ever use Firefox and I’d never deploy it in business use, but, if you wish to do so and want advice, go ahead and ask I’ll see what I can do.
